Tape rooms

Tape 3–4 rectangles on the floor in different sizes. Each is a "room."

Pick up one toy animal or figurine. Put it inside one rectangle. Look pleased.

Wholesale relocation of toys into the rooms. Naming the rooms ("this is the kitchen, this is the bedroom"). Adding tape lines themselves to make doorways. Animals visiting other animals.

Add a strip of tape connecting two rooms — a "hallway." Make one room very small and see which animals fit. Tape numbers in each room and "deliver" the right count.
